I'm having a problem with automake and GnuCash 2.0.2 on Ubuntu 6.06:

>checking for gconf-2.0 >= "2.0"... Package gconf-2.0 was not found in the
>>pkg-config search path. Perhaps you should add the directory containing
>>`gconf-2.0.pc' to the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable No package '
>>gconf-2.0' found
>configure: error: Library requirements (gconf-2.0 >= "2.0") not met; consider
>>adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if your libraries are in a
>>nonstandard prefix so pkg-config can find them.

I searched the archives and found the solution of adding GConf2-devel. However,
I can only find RPMs; there no longer appears to be a tarball available. Does
anyone have any ideas?
