It would be fine to have more people with write access to gnucash/trunk/accounts/de_DE/ . Myself as a German core developer would be responsible to merging updates from there to a respective stable branch. In the account templates I don't think there's any difference between the stable/unstable branch anyway. During the previous stable series I usually updated only the stable branch and left trunk untouched. I did so until we stopped working on the old stable branch, at which point I copied everything from stable to trunk.
