You need to open the price db, then click add, then click choose to select a commodity, select namespace and fullname from combo box, click OK, enter date, type and price and click OK which closes the price editor dialog. To enter the next price you need to do this all over again even if namespace, date and type did not change.
Two suggested improvements: - add apply button to price editor dialog - add namespace and fullname combobox to price editor dialog I opened bug #580281 and attached a patch that iplements these suggested improvements.
