Here's a quick followup to my earlier message about wanting to account
for investment gains within GnuCash...

I decided my problem could be better solved by writing a new report
generator, instead of a "scrub" feature which reassigns investment gains
to different accounts.
I am working on this and will contribute the report when it is working.
Also I am still interested in writing an extension to apply a stock
split by globally scaling the quantities and prices (in order to
maintain correct lot allocation).
