I don't use gnucash for business, but do see the db and webkit as useful for the changes I want to make. Webkit supports javascript, so we can make the reports much more interactive (e.g. budget report with horizontal/vertical scrolling with account names/column labels fixed), ability to expand/contract areas, ... We would need a developer who wants to take on some of these other changes for them to get into gnucash.
