The question of a suitable reporting system is a difficult one and I don't have any answers here yet, see wiki. However, I tend to prefer some other scripting language over Scheme, so the gnucash report system will probably not be re-used in cutecash. But that's still open for discussion and for people who like to contribute some initial implementations.
