(xmllint -valid -noout gnucash-guide.xml), I found several errors.
2) Am working on fixing my errors

errors. The errors are in the original before I did anything.
4) Errors reference the Data Type Definition (DTD) and I am
trying to understand the specifics of that. I may or may not be able
to fix AppendixD errors.
I checked in a fix for the Appendix D errors a few days ago. If you
update your working copy you should get them.
