On the other hand, if the problem is in libdbi, the libdbi team is best informed so they can fix it. If the problem is a compiler bug/incompatibility, both Fedora and libdbi may be a good team to trace and/or fix the incompatibility. You best add links to this thread and GnuCash bug 611936.
