You got it! Now all works as expected.
If it's ok for main developers I would like to submit these 2 patches to
the svn repository (giving credits to Suguru for his works).
Then someone should integrate the automatic generation of epub and mobi
files for nightly build of the documentation (I'm not able to do this).
When the files are available provide me with links and I will add them
to the documentation webpages.

- patch 1/2 works: I can apply it and after running make epub I get the epub
files as expected;
