I om on a Mac and am delighted to start using gnucash. Quicken changed their
check format a while ago, so the quicken wallet check positioning is incorrect.
I read through the documentation, found where the configuration files for check
formatting are located, and have a set of positions that works for the new
Quicken Wallet Checks.
There is already a bug report on Bugzilla,
https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=644977
by another user, where details

I looked at http://svn.gnucash.org/repo/gnucash/trunk/checks/quicken_wallet.chk
and found the correct file to change.

I have attached the file quicken_wallet_new.chk . Also, I've included the text
in this email, as this is a common need for people migrating from Quicken. I'm
hoping Google indexes this so the fix is available.

I'm new to collaborative projects.
Is this email enough to get the fix implemented?
Should I get authorized on Bugzilla to update the status of the bug reported
(#644977)?

Steve Holland
