I would add to that that static IPs are readily available for basic broadband 
connections, meaning a small business placing their accounts online on their 
own server for the benefit of their customers, or at the very least their 
accountant, is well within reach.

The difficulty in getting our accountant to share access with us is our number 
one headache with gnucash.
