Hi Gregory, This issue is not specific to your setup. The column visibility, widths and sort order are not saved yet. The way this was done in GConf before was not compatible with GSettings. It is on my list of things to do before we can release GnuCash 2.6. I'm sorry for the temporary inconvenience.
