Hi Didier, Please remember to reply to the list instead of the respondents directly. You can do this by using the "Reply to list" or "Reply to all" features of your e-mail program. Writing the documentation and making it available on different platforms are two very different things. Luckily you only have to worry about the first part. When you contribute a French translation, it will be added to the source repository for our documentation. >From there it will be picked up by distribution maintainers to package it for >their distribution. The gnucash developers additionally do this: - the documentation will be converted into html format and be made available online via the gnucash website - the same documentation is converted into various e-book formats (pdf, epub, mobi) for download from the gnucash website - when we release a new version of gnucash, we build windows and os x packages. These will include a copy of the documentation in all languages it is available in. So... if you provide the translation it will end up in many places, including Windows and OS X :) Geert _______________________________________________ gnucash-devel mailing list [email protected] https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-devel
