you need a better argument than "that's the way I've always done it",
considering that the Git community at large doesn't seem to consider
it a "best practice".
So what has been wrong with my commits that you would like me to fix?
Do you think absolutely everything should go on a branch and get merged
into master or maint? Or is it ok to put small changes directly on
master or maint?
