Ok but then it will be semi-backward incompatible as it will be only compatible with 2.6.20 which can make it very tricky for users to test 2.8 and then go back to an old gnucash (if needed) < 2.6.20 the user has using before, no ? On piecash side, both formats can be supported so it is more for gnucash users than piecash users I am worried.
