I have no idea what "the KDU menu" is, nor do I know anything about KDE -- I've never used it. I always use "rpm" directly. What happens if you run this command from your shell, as root: rpm -Uvh ftp://rufus.w3.org/linux/redhat/7.3/en/os/i386/RedHat/RPMS/gnucash-1.6.6-3.i386.rpm It will probably give you some missing dependencies (like g-wrap, Guppi, etc). Try downloading those missing RPMs from the same location and installing by hand using "rpm -Uvh". > Shoot me: when rpm does not work, I am at a loss. The problem is most certainly on your end. > with friendly greetings, > Peter van Summeren -derek > > >From: Derek Atkins <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >To: "Peter van Summeren" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > >CC: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > >Subject: Re: My interest in gnucash, but... > >Date: 09 Aug 2002 00:36:12 -0400 > > > >If you are running Red Hat 7.3, you should just download the > >Red Hat gnucash RPM.
