I am not sure why you think Virginia. GNAPS.NET has service in Boston (http://www.gnaps.net/Locations/massachusetts.html). However, we can end the conversation and I can state now factually since I am no longer on a plane w/o net access. (i.e. I was able to verify)
That Savannah is indeed in Boston on bandwidth donated by global-naps, which has no affiliation to VA Software. The box is indeed a VA box, however it was purchased (at a slight discount) from VA Software, it was not a hand out and the FSF owns it. This was just before VA Software started going down the propreitary software slope. -Derek On Tue, 2002-08-27 at 07:41, Derek Atkins wrote: > Derek Neighbors <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> writes: > > > > > 4) My understanding is that savanah is hosted on the sourceforge cpu's > > > > and network, so it suffers from the same problem. > > > > Um I think FSF pretty much abhors fact that sourceforge went way of prop > > software and I do not think it is on the VA network.
