Hmm, I suppose we could grey it out, but that would be more challening. Plugging in new menu items is relatively easy. Greying them out is more challenging. I'll take a look.
Greying out: Sure, if that is going to be a big hassle, then the missing button is
fine. I guess either way, they user will have to look into why the button isn't
working or there. So will come out the same and if removing the button is easier than that
seems to be the way to go.
Of course you could get it from the gnucash site, right next to gnucash-XX.rpm
