i have some new good quality greek type1 fonts and i want to use them in gnucash but i cant see them from applications that use xfs.
what i did in a rhl9 install?
1)i make a dir in /usr/share/fonts/ 2)i place there all afm and pfb files 3)i run in there mkfontscale,mkfontdir 4) i run chkfontpath -a </usr/share/fonts/dir> 5)service xfs restart now chkfontpath shows them but when i run gtk1 apps like gimp,gnucash etc these fonts are not available... (fontconfig applications see them with fc-cache)
what i did wrong?
