Well, for the most part, I think the instructions need to be something like "get your distro cdrom 1 or 2 and put it into the cdrom drive and do it the way your distro tells you to do it." Special instructions are needed for those people who have-ta, gotta have the latest version. But those instructions will be highly distro-specific; are you really ready to learn the ins and outs of a bunch of different distro's to write these instructions? That said, send me a web page & I'll copy it onto the gnucash website.
