Oh I agree that submitting a bug report together with a patch is ideal and seldom causes offence. I'm more concerned about browsing through the buglist and fixing bugs which have already been assigned to folks (like the aforementioned #100701, which is accepted and assigned to Josh, but which has no comments after 15/12/2003).
