This seems to be quite a GOOD THING (tm), especially because gmane's search facilities seem to work really nice. At least MUCH better than what e.g. sourceforge could offer. So if in the future anyone asks for a searchable archive of gnucash-devel, http://gmane.org might be a good place to point them to.
