unfortunately the Translation Project didn't react to my posting of the updated gnucash-1.8.5pre1.pot file for the upcoming 1.8.5 release. http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po/HTML/domain-gnucash.html
This unfortunately means that there is not much time left for improving your translations until the 1.8.5 release should come out. This next stable release of gnucash is scheduled for next Sunday, August 17, late night PST. It would be great if you could still try to update your translations until that date.
The current template for gnucash can be downloaded from http://www.tu-harburg.de/~et2cs/gnucash-1.8.5pre1.pot .
You can submit your updated translations either through the Translation Project or email them on [EMAIL PROTECTED] .
The following URL information may help translators for this package, for if they need finer translation context. But this package does not at all compile:

It is only intended for translators who need the translation context, and it will be removed immediately after 1.8.5 comes out. If you like to compile the upcoming gnucash version, you need to checkout the gnucash-1-8-branch from gnucash CVS as described on http://www.gnucash.org
