Does libdga support PgNotify()? FWIW, libdbi would support us just as easily as libgda. Indeed, the existing plan was to use dbi (since it's actually available in existing distributions and has been for years). I don't know how much (if any) code has been written towards this, yet, so it may be possible to shift to a different technology without throwing away existing work. It's the "throwing away existing work" I'm extremely hesitant to do because of the lack of developer resources.
