Mike, I did do it the old way eg: pen and paper and checked so I did not overlook transpositions by checking my total payments noted in Gnucash against the statement which agree as well as the credits. And indeed there are no outstanding amounts for 195.14 or 97.57. Since the statement and Gnucash sums agree it is somewhere else. Thanks for the thought though.
