The release of the latest OS from Apple has prevented my Gnucash 2.6.17 from opening.
I have downloaded 2.6.18 to see if that solved the problem and although it now opens, it does not respond to mouse or keyboard on the windows. I can only shut it using the Force Quit function. Found this on the web: The fundamental problem is documented sort-of in this bug: https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80 <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80> <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80 <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80>><https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80 <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80> <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80 <https://github.com/Dead2/zlib-ng/issues/80>>> > > The simplest solution until the next release is to copy /usr/lib/libz.1.dylib > into Gnucash.app/Contents/Resources/lib. Is the latest version compatible with the 64 bit OS X 10.13? Is there a workaround I can use? Do you need more information or crash reports? Thanks.
