If you are going to run gnc-fq-dump (or -helper) from the shell, you need to pass the API Key in an "environment variable". How you set this variable depends on the type of shell you use. One sure-fire way to get it to work on Linux and Mac (sorry, Windows users), is to use the 'env' command: $ env ALPHAVANTAGE_API_KEY=xxxxxx gnc-fq-dump alphavantage CSCO In order to permanently set this will depend on which shell you use. > Xavier > Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. > You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All. -derek -- Derek Atkins, SB '93 MIT EE, SM '95 MIT Media Laboratory Member, MIT Student Information Processing Board (SIPB) URL: http://web.mit.edu/warlord/ PP-ASEL-IA N1NWH warl...@mit.edu PGP key available _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list gnucash-user@gnucash.org https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
