Another user reported the same issue on the gnucash-devel list and the build did get fixed by removing all build artefacts from a previous release from his system. This included removing the source directory (as it was used before to build an older gnucash version in-source), and removing all traces of gnucash from /usr/local (I don't know where you installed it).
