I took it from: https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2018-April/076475.html and https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/bb762494(v=vs.85).aspx but msdn also says "As of Windows Vista, these values have been replaced by KNOWNFOLDERID values. See that topic for a list of the new constants and their corresponding CSIDL values...", so https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd378457(v=vs.85).aspx is the more recent source "The KNOWNFOLDERID constants represent GUIDs that identify standard folders registered with the system as Known Folders. These folders are installed with Windows Vista and later operating systems, and a computer will have only folders appropriate to it installed. For descriptions of these folders, see CSIDL." And they distinguish since Vista between local and roaming appdata. > I think maybe should be: > %APPDATA%\Gnucash Default Path: %APPDATA% (%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming) NOTE backward slash right, go for it! > as GnuCash 3 no longer supports Windows XP or Vista. > > Regards, Chris Good ~Frank _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
