In Windows 8.1 I run 2.6.21 without problems; 3.0 is another story. 3.0 will not install at all. Installation attempts freeze about 33% into the install process. I have tried 4 times including using different downloads in case of corrupted files, always with the same result. I did manage to get 3.0 to install with Windows in Safe Mode, but after re- turning to Regular Mode, when 3.0 starts up, I receive an error message that Gnucash is seeking a disk in an obscure back (memory card) drive, and I can't make the message go away or move past it. For the record, what I could see of 3.0 looked odd, too, kind of spread out, not identical to the 2.6 versions I had run. I ultimately had no choice but to uninstall 3.0 and reinstall 2.6.21. _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
