I'm guessing the database driver is missing: libdbd-mysql Not sure if it would help installing this within the host operating system. Not entirely sure how that flatpak stuff works. But I suspect you might have to somehow inject it into the flatpack container. Some information to throw into the mix. I tried installing the 3.2 Flatpack version on an Ubuntu Mate laptop, which had previously run a 2.6 gnucash before having the OS reinstalled (but the home directory was untouched). Everything seems to work, but it threw out these messages. This may or may not be useful info. ---------------- flatpak run org.gnucash.GnuCash ldconfig: /app/lib/libguile-2.2.so.1.3.0-gdb.scm is not an ELF file - it has the wrong magic bytes at the start. Gtk-Message: 19:16:03.164: Failed to load module "appmenu-gtk-module" Notice Your gnucash metadata has been migrated . Old location: /home/slave/.gnucash New location: /home/slave/.var/app/org.gnucash.GnuCash/data/gnucash If you no longer intend to run GnuCash 2.6.x or older on this system you can safely remove the old directory.
