No, the latest release on Github is 1.47, the same as is available in CPAN. There are unreleased changes in the Finance Quote repo just like there are unreleased changes in the GnuCash repo and pretty much every repo on Github or anywhere else. You can’t “switch to Github”, it’s not an alternative location for distributing perl packages. You can clone the repository and build Finance Quote by hand if you’re comfortable with the Perl build system. Otherwise you just have to wait for Erik to do a release.
