Should I attend a class in book keeping too?
I just want to know how to use the d*** thing.
I am starting to think I may be better off using a
spreadsheet.
It would take a LOT more experience with double entry bookkeeping to
keep a set of books using spreadsheets (which obviously can mimic the
way we used to do bookkeeping in the pen and ink on paper days)
What gnucash IS is a partial automation of standard double entry
bookkeeping (that is STANDARD bookkeeping). You get to enter
transactions directly into the ledger instead of first entering
transactions in the journal and then posting. Using the d**** thing does
require you to understand SOMETHING about double entry bookkeeping
because that is what you are doing..
