"Verify that Preferences > Register > Actions > ‘Enter’ moves to blank transaction is checked." But I can confirm this is broken, and a bug was filed this morning: https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=797399 Transaction entry is quite a pain now with or without that setting selected. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.
