Frank, Thanks for that link. However, I am at the point of setting up my investments, and had created the brokerage account and was just getting started on setting up the security accounts. For this purpose I was using chapter 9 in the online documentation on this subject. From what I can tell, the documentation bundled with the software does not cover this subject to the level of detail found at https://www.gnucash.org/docs/v3/C/gnucash-guide/. But I will be patient.
