David made the following comment: "It is usually a good idea if you are creating a new file to copy it to its own directory before opening it so its backup and log files are kept separate from those of any previous data file." Up until March, my log and backup files were located in the folder where the data resides. Then, I switched to Linux. Then, when I clicked on the link to the data, it would leave a link to the data files. I have no idea where they are - they are not in the data folder.
