Forgive me, I am confused. I just looked at appendix D and I found " D. Auxiliary File Formats" <https://www.gnucash.org/docs/v4/C/gnucash-guide/appendixd.html>. Is that what you want to delete? The U.K Vat reference is in Appendix C.
