The Imbalance account gets created when you *enter* an imbalanced
transaction. This happens when you, um, hit the *enter* key. If you're
creating a split transaction then you should not hit the enter key until
you are absolutely done will all the splits.
The GnuCash Guide documentation goes through a very detailed, step-by-step
instruction on how to enter a split transaction. I highly recommend you
read the docs.

Maybe the issue is not asking the right question? Even here, in this
email, you don't actually say WHAT your issue is, so I'm only guessing.
