I’m using GnuCash 4.4 on iMac with Catalina, and have 6 files in my Most-Recently-Used (MRU) list. Some time ago I reported a bug in the updating of the MRU which was fixed in the next release, and it was about this time that the 6-item MRU became available on my system. I can’t find a Preferences setting for the number of files in the MRU, but I’m sure John Ralls could point a finger in the right direction.
