Hi David (Cousens), The problem only occurs if you have transactions exported from multiple bank accounts in a single .ofx file. I have found this in GnuCash 4.5 but don't know about other versions. There were modifications to ofx processing in 4.2.

Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="UTF-8" Chris, I import OFX files from my bank with transfer transactions between three bank accounts and between all of those accounts and a credit card account reasonably regularly. I reconcile all accounts and have never noticed any discrepancies in the past. Is this any particular GnuCash version? I haven't imported anything for a month or two so haven't yet imported using V4.4 or 4.5 .
