You're welcome, and you did right by changing the subject. Unfortunately, replying to a digest doesn't thread to your original post. (as discussed in another thread) No way around that of which I am aware, but at least the subject is the same so we know what you are discussing!

The only other 'netiquette' point from the Wiki would be to only quote the relevant message or part of the relevant message, rather than the entire digest. (most clients will auto-trim the quote if you select the relevant text first, then hit your Reply/etc. button)

Glad to be of help. (and as another poster noted, it seems the P&L can disregard closing entries. Not sure how long that option has been there. But still, I find closing to be more work than I find necessary for my needs)

Regards,
Adrien

Thanks Everyone.

ADRIEN hit the nail on the head! I didn't know you could select "Period
Totals" to display in the Chart of Accounts. This gives me what I was
looking to achieve without the need to use the "Close Book" feature which
as described can lead to some problems with running reports that overlap
fiscal years.

PS - Am I correctly replying to the List Serve in regards to "editing the
subject line" and "replying all" so the thread is documented correctly?
As mentioned, I am knew to all this.
