Mailing list etiquette. Please change the subject to something meaningful
when replying to a digest posting that you have received and don't repost
the complete digest, trim the content as necessary. It's not very helpful
when scanning through individually received email subjects or searching the
email archive to see gnucash-user Digest blah blah blah.  To start a new
posting simply send an email to [email protected] as mentioned below
which covers both these points.

Have you explored any of the Gnucash menu options - View >> Double Line
(CTRL + ALT + L on Windows) is what you seem to be after.  Note that it
appears to be register dependent so if you have multiple register tabs
open, you'll have to set it on for each individually.  You can also under
Edit >> Preferences >> Register Defaults >> Other Defaults check the
"Double line mode" checkbox to have all newly opened registers open in
Double Line mode.
