Helmut,
I just filed bug: https://bugs.gnucash.org/show_bug.cgi?id=798493
This is also a problem with the Unit Price field.
The invoice itself contains the desired precision as you noted, but the
Report alters it.
Rather than a preference or option to edit the report directly (a
Herculean task) the Report should simply print the data unchanged.
Regards,
Adrien

Is there some way to customize the number of decimal places that are
used for the Quantity column in an invoice?
When I edit an invoice and insert 1/7 as quantity, it is displayed as
0.14285714. However, when I print the invoice, it is displayed as 0.14.
Preferably I would like to see 1/7 in the printed version; 3 or 4
decimal places, i.e. 0.1429, would also be acceptable. Just two decimal
seems very little.
Helmut
