I don't think anyone can talk to 2.6.19 -- that code is like a decade old! Hidden is supposed to hide the account from the Chart of Accounts. However it will still be available in the drop-down for transactions. Placeholder accounts will be removed from the drop-down, but still visible in the CoA. > Is there some preference I need to set to make "Hidden" mean hidden? If you want to remove the account from the CoA *AND* the drop-down, you need to mark it both Hidden and Placeholder. > Stan Brown > Tehachapi, CA, USA > https://BrownMath.com > Please remember to CC this list on all your replies. > You can do this by using Reply-To-List or Reply-All. -derek -- Derek Atkins 617-623-3745 [email protected] www.ihtfp.com Computer and Internet Security Consultant _______________________________________________ gnucash-user mailing list [email protected] To update your subscription preferences or to unsubscribe: https://lists.gnucash.org/mailman/listinfo/gnucash-user If you are using Nabble or Gmane, please see https://wiki.gnucash.org/wiki/Mailing_Lists for more information. ----- Please remember to CC this list on all your replies.
