hi Alan best way is what Geoff advised. Try re installing the finance quote. make sure you see the folder and sub folder called quotes under finance

It appears that these two are returning conflicting reports, so I'm now wondering whether I should uninstall Strawberry perl again and reinstall it, but I'm also wondering why it didn't fully install in the first place. I suggest that you try to install it again. The installation can be a bit fiddly as there are a number of dependencies, and some modules take a while. You can do this with the GnuCash installer.
