I understand that the space you are mentioning is the directory and not the individual file. if so, at times the 30 days delete is not going through, you can look at your file directly and safely remove the older files to reduce the size

I've checked settings, and it says I'm compressing files, and backing up data for 30 days. What else do I need to check? Maybe there's a section in the doco on keeping disk space down?
