I've noticed some recent posts about backups and want to share the
following.
I have been using "Borg Backup" on Linux to backup my files. With it I
can restore files from backups made as far back as I choose.
I have been using it for over two years and have had no problems. I
backup my entire home directory and maintain two backups, one to an
external hard drive and one to a cloud server for which I pay a nominal fee.
The learning curve is a bit steep.
