I don't understand why you need to up arrow after each character. You can type "p", then "r", then "e" just like you used to do. You can type as many letters as you need without selecting "Don't Autocomplete" which is what you seem to be saying. With LOTS of one-of entries since 2006, the new method is less than friendly. I can appreciate that it may work for some [new] GNC users; but the original method is much better/faster for long term users users with a huge history of entries. Besides, typical use is to process mostly the same transactions month to month where the old method excelled... Given an option, I would select the old method as it was MUCH faster.
