When I migrated from Quicken, I attempted to import everything and it
failed (I think this was my fault for attempting to do everything at once
instead of doing one year at a time)... but then I realized that I could
just start GnuCash from scratch (putting in correct opening balances) and
go forward. If I needed old data, I could run Quicken. This worked for me,
but I am just managing my personal finances.

As time passed, I have needed to look stuff up in Quicken less and less.
