Hello

I've run into a problem with Finance::Quote (F::Q) that may or may not be
appropriate to report here. Please let me know if it belongs elsewhere, as I'm
an infrequent visitor to this list.

I have had weekly stock price updates configured and working on my Windows 10
system for several months using gnucash 5.6, F::Q 1.59, and Strawberry Perl
(perl 5, version 32, subversion 1 (v5.32.1) built for
MSWin32-x86-multi-thread-64int). I've just noticed that my last stock price
update occurred on March 28. The subsequent scheduled updates, plus all manual
update attempts, have not returned results. The log files do not contain any
useful hints, but today, I ran the following command from a cmd window:

gnucash-cli.exe --quotes get file://path/to/<myfile>.gnucash

and received this result:

Found Finance::Quote version 1.59.
* 11:11:36 ERROR <gnc.price-quotes> [parse_quotesource_error()] Unrecognized
Finance::Quote Error Wide character in subroutine entry at
C:/Strawberry/perl/site/lib/Finance/Quote/Cdnfundlibrary.pm line 80.
Price retrieval failed: Unrecognized Finance::Quote Error: Wide character in
subroutine entry at C:/Strawberry/perl/site/lib/Finance/Quote/Cdnfundlibrary.pm
line 80.

Should anyone have any insight into what might be causing this, I would very
much appreciate hearing from you. And again, if this sort of problem should be
reported elsewhere, please advise.

Thanks for your attention,

Terry
